Kids’ museum creates exciting programs for spring

Pretend City Children’s Museum in Irvine, about 15 miles from Anaheim, has several exciting spring programs for children.

Located at 22 Hubble, the museum is designed to help children learn about the real world and how it works.

On March 31, the Celebrate Easter Program will be from 11:00 am to 5:00 pm. The program will have Easter crafts, music, and movement, as well as a chance to meet and greet the Easter Bunny, egg decorating, and games. Programs are free with museum admission.

The Kidstock Family Friendly Music and Art Festival runs from April 2 to April 8. Live musical performances are usually 11:00 am. to 3:30 pm. at the Marquee Theater. There are musical movement activities, singing, and dancing included.

The Way to Play Day – a Package of Learning will be held on April 1 from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm. Activities are aimed at infants from birth to 12 months, toddlers 12-24 months, and young children 2-6 years old. Activities, developmental screenings, and learning tools will be featured.

Celebrate Earth Day will take place on April 22 at 10:00 am until 5:00 pm. The program will have art classes focusing on the planet and recycling, simple science, and storytelling.

Celebrate Arbor Day will follow on April 27 from 10:00 to 5:00 pm. The children will be making leaf prints, and listening to the story the Giving Tree and the Grand Old Tree.
