Children’s festival’s return promises plenty of fun

The 30th annual McDonalds Houston Children’s Festival is taking place next month over two days. Proceeds from this event will be donated to Child Advocates.

The popular festival will have plenty of activities that will appeal to the entire family, not only the kids.

There will be lots of fun rides, including inflatables, live entertainment, and even circus acts. Specials guests will drop by from Paw Patrol, Curious George, and the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. In addition, there will be pony rides, a petting zoo, and laser tag. Coupons will be on sale for $10 for nine which, will cover many of these activities as well as food.

A selection of local vendors will be on hand during the day to sell food and drink, as well as arts and crafts and merchandise from local small businesses. No doubt, some non-profit organizations will also be providing information about their programs and services.

Organizers or vendors may invest in banner printing services from a Houston print company to help draw attention to certain areas of the festival.

The Houston Children’s Festival will be held at Tranquility Park on April 7 to 8 from 10:30 am to 6:30 pm each day. Admission is $10 in advance and $14 at the gate, while a fun pass which covers admission and all activities costs $30. To learn more, visit the event website.
