East Brunswick fundraiser planned for the YMCA

March 4, 2018 by

The Raritan Valley YMCA provides an assortment of fitness and other programming for East Brunswick and the surrounding communities, it has planned an activity to help fund its efforts.

The YMCA will be hosting its 5th Annual Spin-A-Thon, and the monies raised will be used to support its childcare, senior fitness, camps, sports swimming classes and other programs. Spots are available on a first come, first served basis, and people can sign up for one to four hours.

Those who wish to participate can sign up on their own or as part of a team, and the first 50 who register will be given a free t-shirt to thank them for their help. Each rider will be given a bag of YMCA swag, and snacks will be provided. At noon, the riders will be served a lunch where they will have an opportunity to meet other volunteers, sponsors, founding members and others who have helped to make the organization what it is today. An area print company can be counted upon to provide a variety of promotional products for use during this type of occasion.

The fundraiser has been planned for the morning of March 24th, and anyone who would like to participate has been asked to ensure they have submitted their registration form by March 21st. The event will be held at 144 Tices Lane, and further details can be found on the YMCA website.
