Community resource fair on the agenda for Lake Worth

February 14, 2018 by

An event has been planned for Lake Worth that will connect jobseekers with employers and agencies in the community who can help them to reach their employment goals.

Lake Worth’s CMAA Therapeutic Recreation Complex will be hosting a community resource fair that will give people an opportunity to meet with representatives of local businesses that are looking for the right person to fill a position in their enterprise. Along with this, there will be other assistance provided.

Those who come to the event are reminded to bring along their résumé, and if they need assistance, experts in career building will be on hand to supply it. They will also be able to share details about other supports that exist in the local area, such as housing, disability services, and education.

Businesses in Lake Worth and the surrounding areas that are searching for future employees are invited to set up a table or other display. There will be no charge to do so, and they will also have an opportunity to showcase what they have to offer the community. Business cards and other materials for this type of occasion can be produced by print shops.

The Job and Community Resource Fair has been scheduled for March 28 at 2728 Lake Worth Road. More details are available on the Palm Beach County Special Needs Advisory Coalition Facebook page.
