Hamilton to see new craft beer market

The Casual Pint has signed lease papers on space for one of its craft beer markets in downtown Hamilton.

The location for the new establishment will be the mixed-use development, The Marcum Apartments, which is currently under construction. Containing 103 high-end units, the Apartment building will also feature 10,000 square feet of ground floor commercial space.

CMC Properties, the developer for The Marcum, was instrumental in convincing Robin and Clint Elliott, who already operate locations in Loveland and Mason, to open a Casual Pint location here.

Craft beer will be the bread and butter of the new establishment, which will have 30 beers on tap with shelves containing hundreds of carryout choices. Beer-tenders will serve pints of craft beer from a wall tap, as well as cans and bottles to be consumed on the premises. Tap-filled, takeout growlers will be available as well as Mix-a-Six Packs and Kegs.

A variety of items, including promotional drinkware, will carry a variation of the company’s logo design.

In 2011, the first Casual Pint was launched in Knoxville and two years later began franchising. In 2016, Casual Pint came to southwest Ohio, opening in Loveland, followed by an Oakley location that same year and a Mason Casual Pint in 2017. Slated to open during July 2018, the Hamilton Casual Pint will also serve wines and a modest food selection.
