Rapper coming to Huntington

January 8, 2018 by

Rapper Fetty Wap will appear in Huntington soon, headlining his ‘For My Fans Tour’.

In 2017, which was a busy year for the artist, Fetty released ‘There She Go’ and ‘Aye’, and then teamed up with Cheat Codes, with whom he shares the label 300 Entertainment, for ‘Feels Great’. He also made two mixtapes, ‘For My Fans II’ and ‘Lucky No. 7’, in between recording and releasing singles officially.

His first album, the eponymous ‘Fetty Wap’, was successful, and the artist says he will continue working on his next album, ‘King Zoo’, during the upcoming tour.

Fetty Wap was born Willie Maxwell in Paterson, New Jersey, and lost an eye to glaucoma, a condition he had from birth. His interest in music dates only to 2013, when he began rapping. Later, he added singing to his repertoire.

The tour kicks off in Silver Spring, Maryland, soon; at present the artist plans to tour from mid-January through mid-February, 2018, criss-crossing the country to appear in cities including Chicago, San Francisco, and San Diego, before winding up in Raleigh, North Carolina.

Fetty Wap comes to Huntington on January 18, where he will appear at The Paramount. Tickets are on sale now, and additional tour dates will be added later.

Events like this are fun and exciting for fans, and can be enhanced if organizers distribute promotional products at the concert.
