The Valrhona Hot Chocolate Festival is just around the corner and the kick-off party will be in a couple of weeks. This will be the third year of the event for the chocolate maker.

Some of New York City’s most well-known pastry chefs will be concocting their special hot chocolate elixirs for a kick-off party and subsequent two-week event. Some of the bakeries and pastry shops participating will be Patisserie Chanson, Brooklyn Roasting Company, Petrossian Bakery, Daily Provisions, Epicerie Boulud, La Maison Du Chocolat and Laduree.

Admission will be $35 and comes with an unlimited supply of pastries, samples and hot chocolate.

All proceeds from the Hot Chocolate Festival and kick-off party will go directly to the C-CAP’s Job Training Programs and will provide job readiness training supplies, student handbooks, workshop spaces, kitchen training ingredients and program facilitator fees. Valrhona is hoping to raise $10,000 by December 2018 through this event and by donating $2 for every “3kg bag of new ORELYS 35% Blond Chocolate” it sells in North America. It hopes to help over 200 students.

Bellerose chocolate connoisseurs will want to mark their calendars for The Valrhona Hot Chocolate Festival which will run from January 20th to February 5th at Laduree New-York Soho, 76 Thompson Street, New York City. The Kick-off Party will be Thursday, January 18th from 5:30 pm until 7:30.
