In today’s busy world, it can be difficult for people to find the time to slow down and take care of themselves, and a Royersford workshop will teach the secrets of self care.

Those who take part in the Mastering The Art of Self Care session, which is being facilitated by Christine Ford, BSW, will teach the attendees the importance of taking care of themselves. According to the organizers, this is sometimes a difficult task for people who have never done so.

The event facilitator will discuss a variety practices that can help people to look after their emotional, mental and physical health, and the students will be encouraged to draft their own unique, individualized self care plan. Catalog printing techniques can be used to craft personal journals and other items that can be given to each of the people who come to a workshop like this.

The fee to participate in the morning will be $20.00 each, and anyone who is interested is asked to pay a $5.00 deposit to reserve their spot. The remaining $15.00 will be paid to the organizers on the day of the event itself.

This initiative that will focus on the value of self care has been planned for January 24th in Royersford’s RainDance Life Center. Further details about the venue, as well as a chance to register and find out more about the other programs it has to offer, can be found on its website.
