Tomball workshop planned for local mothers to be

Tomball parents to be will soon have an opportunity to participate in a series of classes that will help to prepare them for parenthood.

Bare Root Collective will be the location for a series of three afternoon classes that will address a variety of topics related to childbirth and beyond. Birth partners are encouraged to attend as well, as the information provided can also be useful to them.

Some of the topics that will be covered in classes include how a woman in labor can communicate effectively with their birth partner, the different pain relief options that are available and measures that can make childbirth more comfortable for the mother to be. Along with all of this, the women who participate will learn how they can craft a birthing plan that is unique to them. There will also be a discussion about some of the concerns that can arise during pregnancy and what to expect during a newborn’s first hour of life. Copies of handouts for an educational event like this can be prepared by a printing using digital copying techniques.

The ticket price for the three workshops, which will begin on January 27th, has been set at $300.00 each. It will be facilitated by a member of staff from Mother Nurturing. More details, for anyone who needs them, can be found on its website.
