Holistic nursing to be the focus of upcoming Flemington conference

December 18, 2017 by

An Flemington conference in January will focus on holistic nursing, and all those with an interest in the topic are welcome to attend.

The symposium will hone in on an assortment of the areas that make up holistic healing. It will open with registration for the delegates, and after this, breakfast will be served. The presentations will begin at 8:00 am, and five have been scheduled for the morning.

Each of the sessions will cover a different topic, and these range from a discussion of Reiki Therapy and how it can be applied in a typical healthcare setting, to how guided imagery can have healing benefits and stress reduction through the use of aromatherapy. All of the lectures that will be included in the day have received the approval of the Pennsylvania State Nurses Association and can count for five contact hours for social workers or nurses in the state.

The registration fee for the conference starts at $50 each, and certificate will be handed out to all those who participate. A local stationery printing service will be able to supply these types of items, along with any others needed to make the event a success.

The Hunterdon Medical Center Holistic Nursing Conference will be taking place at 2100 Wescott Drive in Flemington on January 20. More details, as well as an opportunity to register can be found on the organizer’s Facebook page.
