Eagleville area event to offer sneak peek into campus life

December 18, 2017 by

Eagleville high school students who are eager for a taste of campus life will find they will be made most welcome during an event that will be taking place at the University of Valley Forge in 2018.

The event, which will give those who participate an opportunity to stay overnight on the campus, is planned as an introduction to what it is like to be a student at the University. The guests can attend a variety of information sessions, sit in on a class, eat in the cafeteria, and take part in the many activities that have been planned for the day.

When it is time to turn in, the visiting students will be able to spend the night in one of the residence halls. Those who plan on participating are asked to bring along bedding and a pillow, a change of clothes, and any toiletries they might need. Anyone who wants to attend but who is under the age of 18 will need to have an adult chaperone, and the whole experience is being offered free of charge. Banners that welcome the guests to the university, and any other printed items that are needed to make sure a function like this goes smoothly, can be sourced from an area print company.

This sample of campus life will be offered to high school students on March 15, and more details, for anyone who needs them, have been made available on the university’s Facebook page.
