Starting a business from scratch can be a real leap of faith, and a Napa workshop will seek to equip local entrepreneurs with knowledge and skills they can use to achieve success.

The session, which is intended to provide an in-depth orientation to the process of building a business from the ground up, will cover a variety of areas that may be helpful to those just starting out. The topics that will be addressed include deciding what sort of business license may be required and how to obtain it, taxes, and other tips that can help a company to succeed.

Along with this, the attendees will discuss the components of a business plan and how to craft one and also the different options that are available when it comes to marketing a company’s products or services. It has been organized by the Napa-Sonoma Small Business Development Center, and the ticket price will be $30 each. Copies of learning materials for a course like this can be provided by a printer using digital copying techniques.

January 11 has been selected to be the date for this workshop, and it will take place in BLDG 3300 of Napa Valley College, which is located at 2277 Napa Vallejo Highway. More details can be obtained by contacting the Napa-Sonoma Small Business Development Center at (707) 256-7250.
