San Rafael workshop to explore MS PowerPoint

December 12, 2017 by

Microsoft PowerPoint software provides a method for people to create their very own high impact presentations, and during an upcoming San Rafael workshop, attendees will have a chance to learn how to put it to work for them.

The PowerPoint Core Skills seminar will provide an introduction to PowerPoint, and explore all that it can do. The participants will learn how they can use it to create video presentations that are both exciting and engaging, and also how they can craft their own charts and other graphics that can be added to their work.

The facilitators of the function will cover a variety of topics, including how to create a master slide, tips for developing interesting presentation content, how to craft customized animations, and many other areas that can make the software so effective. The final results can be either printed, viewed on a computer monitor, or projected onto a screen. The organizers of the training opportunity noted that the class is a prerequisite for the other PowerPoint courses it offers. Community calendars that let the public know when an event like this will be taking place can be prepared for distribution by an area printer.

This introductory workshop will be taking place on January 16 in San Rafael’s Marin County Office of Education. Anyone who would like to learn more about the class has been asked to contact 415-499-5847 or email dane@marinschools.org for further details.
