Changes in downtown Anaheim, in the packing district and Center Street Promenade, have led to some stores and restaurant closing, but seven new restaurants, pubs and specialty shops, are now either open or will be opening soon:

• Good Things, a combination bar, restaurant, and home goods store will be located at 161 West Center St Promenade. It will have craft beer from four corners of the US, and guest chefs will prepare meals for customers.
• House of Chimney Cakes has opened on 173 Center Street Promenade. It serves a Hungarian cylinder-shaped pastry with a hollow center. It can be dusted with cinnamon and other toppings, or filled with ice cream.
• On 131 W. Center St. Promenade, a Lebanese and Mediterranean restaurant called Hummos & Pita has opened. It serves Greek salads made with salmon, beef, or chicken. Diners can order pita wraps and kebab plates with shrimp, chicken, or beef.
• The Promenade Pub will open at 215 S. Anaheim Blvd. It will have 20 beer handles, plus a range of sandwiches, burgers, hotdogs, appetizers, fries, desserts, and main entrees.
• Mangal by Aleppo’s Kitchen will open at the Anaheim Packing House. The Syrian restaurant will sell grilled kebob plates, sandwiches, beef and chicken shawarma, and beverages.
• 18 Folds is an Asian restaurant that will open in Farmer’s Park in the Farmer’s Home. The will have dim sum, dumplings, fusion, and scratch dishes, together with over 20 craft beers.
• This month, Jav’s Barbecue opens in the Make Building at 500 S. Anaheim Blvd. It will have smoked meats, chicken, brisket, and home-style side dishes.

Anaheim is located near several printing companies that can help restaurants, bars, and cafés with ad specialties for special promotions and openings.
