East Brunswick invited to vegan holiday celebration

November 18, 2017 by

East Brunswick vegans have been cordially invited to come to an event that will see them coming together to enjoy a festive evening of food, sharing, socializing, and fun.

This holiday potluck-style event will be the first of its kind that the NCJBVS has hosted, and all vegans are welcome to come and enjoy an evening with others who follow their dietary practices. It will open with a “no meat meet and greet”, and after this, the guests will move on to the main meal. There will also be an opportunity for them to craft a gingerbread house using the materials provided, and this will be followed by games and other activities.

Each person who comes to the event has been asked to bring along their favorite vegan dish that they can share with the other attendees. The function will be taking place in New Brunswick at Above Art Studios. An area printing services provider can bind the recipes for the different dishes people bring to an occasion like this into a simple cookbook that can be given to each guest.

December 2 has been chosen to be the date for this event, and the registration fee has been set at $15 each. Anyone who has any questions, or who would like to find out more about the occasion or its organizers, has been asked to contact teresa.robinson719@gmail.com.
