Downtown Roseville will be ushering in the holiday season with five holiday-related activities on the last week of November.

Monday, little ones are invited to attend Holiday Storytime. The streets will be filled with people participating in a holiday singalong, making holiday-themed crafts, and storytellers relating favorite Christmas tales.

Local schools, businesses, and organizations have been busily decorating the trees in the square. Wednesday evening the trees will be officially lit at the town’s 6th annual Tree Grove on the Square. Everyone can visit with Santa, make holiday cards and other seasonal crafts, enjoy traditional holiday music, and eat treats.

Thursday will be the Official Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony. Rain or shine this is when the City’s Christmas tree will be officially lit. Again kids can talk with Santa. They can also decorate Christmas cookies and play in the Kids’ Activity Zone. Everyone can listen to seasonal music and munch on holiday goodies.

The holiday movie ‘The Santa Clause’ will be the activity for Friday night. A pancake breakfast with Santa will round out the week’s events.

Holiday Storytime will be November 27th from 6:00 until 6:45 pm, Tree Grove will be November 29th from 6:00pm to 7:30 on the Square, and Christmas Tree Lighting will be November 30th from 6:00 to 8:00 pm.

The Santa Clause will be shown December 1 from 6:30 until 8:30 pm; the breakfast will be the following morning with an 8:30 am and a 9:15 am seating.
