Morton Grove social work discussion series set to return

October 30, 2017 by

Morton Grove professionals with an interest in the mental health care field may wish to save the date for the popular Case Study Professional Development series, which will once again be taking place in the local area.

This series of sessions will address a variety of topics from both the fictional and non-fictional world. Each of the cases that will be discussed will be presented, and though participants are encouraged to read the whole book, this will not be necessary to participate in the discussion.

The facilitator for the occasion will be Kate Mahoney and Frances Schnadig, who are both LCSW. Counsellors and social workers who attend the event may be eligible to qualify for two CEU hours.

The series will consist of four workshops, and those who are interested can choose to attend all of them or as many as they wish. The number of spaces is limited, so those who are interested are encouraged to sign up well ahead of time to ensure there will be a space for them. Document scanning can be used by a printer to create copies of the different fictional cases that will be discussed during the workshop.

Organized by Mental Health America North Shore, the event will be held on November 10th in the offices of Jewish Child and family Services, which can be found at 5150 Golf Road in Skokie. More information has been made available on its Facebook listing.
