Scottsdale greets fall with festivals

Two local festivals – the 2017 Scottsdale Festival and the Family Fun Scottsdale’s 2017 Fall Festival will be ushering in the fall season in a couple of weeks. The two events will one week apart so everyone can attend both.

The Family Fun Scottsdale’s 2017 Fall Festival will feature family interactive games, a stilt walker and a balloon artist. A dance crew and live DJ will be the musical entertainment. Family vendor tables will be passing out information flyers, candy and raffling off prizes. Art stations will have supplies and pumpkins for budding artists to decorate. Little ones will also be able to bounce in the bounce houses. Guests can ride the carousel and the train.

The City of Scottsdale’s annual Fall Festival will have free admission and activities. Attendees can walk through the Haunted forest, play games and get candy at the games booths. Candy will also be given out in the tot area. Guests will want to come in their Halloween best so they can enter the costume contest. Fireworks will end the evening.

Family Fun Scottsdale’s 2017 Fall Festival will be from 3 until 6 pm at the McCormick-Stillman Railroad Park 73 E. Indian Bend Road, Friday, October 20th. The Scottsdale’s Fall Festival will be from 5 pm until 9 at Eldorado Park, 2311 N. Miller Road, on October 28th also here in Scottsdale.
