Unique music school opens in Mt. Pleasant

The first location in South Carolina of the Bach to Rock music school recently held its grand opening in Mt. Pleasant.

At the grand opening, people were able to meet the teachers, tour the school, learn more about the recording studio at the school, and find out about the classes being offered.

The Bach to Rock music school has a different approach to teaching people about music. Lessons are given in a group setting so students feel that it is more like a team sport.

Owners of the school, Brad and Cindy Dunnells, said that this endeavor is something they have always wanted to do. They will enjoy coming to the school every day to help students with their musical creativity. They want to make sure that the school becomes an important part of the community on Mt. Pleasant.

Some of the groups classes that will be offered will include a Rock City program for preschoolers and toddlers, a Rock Band, and Kids-n-Keys for children interested in piano in kindergarten through grade two. The school offers a digital service for parents, so they can schedule lessons, track the progress of their children, get homework, and stream pre-recorded songs for practice at home.

Flyer printing companies could be used by schools such as this one to create flyers with more information about individual classes, hours they are open, and other services that are offered.
