McKinney invited to tee off for vets

Veterans and first responders will be the focus of the day during a golf event that will be taking place in McKinney this fall.

The Stonebridge Ranch Country Club will be hosting the Homes 4 Heroes gold tournament, which will be back for its seventh year. Everyone who participates in the function will receive lunch as well as a swag bag, dinner, and a chance to enter the raffles that will be held during the day. Ad specialties and other branded items for a day like this can be sourced from a local printer.

Even those who are not able to attend in person will still be given an opportunity to make a difference by sponsoring a sign for the tee boxes. This includes the name of a vet or first responder as well as their name, the branch of service they were a member of, and also its logo. They will then be able to keep the sign so that it can be included in a Veteran’s Day or Memorial Day display.

The monies collected through this day of golf and friendship out on the links will be used to provide home repair and other housing-related services for vets and their widows or widowers. The ticket prices for the day, which has been planned for November 13, start at $100, and additional information can be found on the Rebuilding Together North Texas Facebook page.
