Stockton community farm preparing for morning of festivities

A Stockton community-based farm is set to celebrate, and it has issued an invitation to the public to join in the fun.

Boggs Tract Community Farm will be hosting a morning that will showcase itself to area residents. Those who attend will be given a sneak peek tour of both the farm and its expansion zone, which is located across the street. They will learn about the history of the initiative, how it operates, and also how it benefits the local area. After this, they will enjoy a meal prepared using produce that was grown in the garden. This will be crafted by the chefs at Bon Appetit Catering Company in the farm’s shade structure, which has been named the ‘Living Room’, and there will also be seasonal beers on tap, courtesy of the High Water Brewing Company.

As the guests enjoy the food, beer, and friendship, they will be able to enjoy live music and other entertainment, purchase tickets for the raffle, and even pick up some of the garden’s honey, produce, and other locally produced goods to take home with them. Packaging supplies and other materials for the items that will be on offer during an event like this can be provided by an area printing services supplier.

This celebration of the Stockton harvest will be held on November 5. Early bird tickets start at $12, and more details can be found on the organizer’s event listings.
