Fun festival to help improve the lives of area veterans

The NC Vet-Fest is taking place this month in Fayetteville. Proceeds from this event will be donated to local veterans’ aid organizations.

The day is set to be filled with activities that will appeal to the entire family. There will be plenty of children’s activities and games to keep them busy, a poker run for those on motorcycles, and a catfish fishing tournament for veterans only.

There will also be musical entertainment provided all day long by nine acts including Preacher Stone, BoneS Fork, Moses Mitchell, and Gene Avey.

Between the entertainment, there will be patriotic ceremonies and speakers. Vendors will be on hand to sell food, drink, and merchandise such as arts and crafts, and clothing.

This is a free event, but VIP Experience tickets are available for $50 each. This includes access to a special premium area as well as food and drinks throughout the day.

Events like this show how the community supports veterans and in order to attract as many people as possible to Fayetteville, organizers will likely invest in printed advertising provided by a local stationery printing company.

The NC Vet-Fest will be held at Campbellton Landing tomorrow, October 14, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 noon. Admission is free of charge. To learn more about this event, call 910-627-3244 or 910-229-8524.
