Inaugural gala to help local youth

October 14, 2017 by

The 1st Black Tie Masquerade Gala is taking place at the end of this month in Long Beach, raising funds for Children Striving Together (CST).

The theme of the gala is ‘Help our Youth Thrive’. Guests will be treated to a cocktail hour with drinks and appetizers, and will have the opportunity to bid on prizes in a silent auction. Next will be a sit-down dinner that will be followed by live entertainment. All ticket holders will also receive gift bags filled with samples, coupons, and promotional products provided by Long Beach businesses.

The event is also a chance for local businesses to showcase and promote their latest products and/or services. Vendor tables are available for $50 and $75; vendors will be able to place items in the gift bags and have advertisements in the program.

Sponsorships are also available for $400 up to $1,200; sponsors will also place items in the gift bags, will be allowed to give a two-minute talk, and receive a special plaque. Advertisement fees for the program range in price from $15 to $60.

CST is currently raising funds for a permanent building. The organization helps at-risk youth by providing mentoring, activities, and tutoring services.

The Black Tie Masquerade Gala will be held at the Molina Healthcare Event Center on October 27 from 6:00 to 10:00 PM. Tickets are $45. Call 562-884-8105 to learn more.
