There will be something for both little ghosts and goblins and their adult counterparts here in Studio City and nearby in North Hollywood in the run-up to Halloween.

For families, the City of Los Angeles Department of Recreation and Parks will be holding one of its annual Halloween Family Festival & Costume Parades here in Studio City.

The event will be free and the park will have Halloween-themed carnival games and fall goodies at the Food Shack. Everyone will want to come in their Halloween best and participate in the costume parade and contest. Guests can get their faces painted and little ones can enjoy the moon bounce and go trick-or-treating for candy.

Adults over 21 can attend NoHo Monster Bash 2017.The theme will be ‘80s Horror Flicks’. The stage will have acts performing every 30 minutes, and there will be a large space for dancing. Party hosts will be handing out $10 to $100 gift cards to individuals and groups wearing the best costumes.

The Halloween Family Festival & Costume Parade will be October 28 from 4:00 until 8:00 pm at Studio City Recreation Center, 12621 Rye Street. The costume parade will go from 4:30 until 5:30 pm.
