Bernardino brave relish local haunted house

With Halloween just around the corner, Bernardino ghosts and goblins are getting their fill of screams, chills, and frights at the Caitlin Manor Haunted House.

The local San Bernardino Halloween event not only has a terrifying haunted house, but is inundated with zombies and ghouls in Zombie Alley, where the eerie radioactive creatures lurk in the Zombie Tunnel, and attendees get scared in the Clown Room.

Guests will be able to wander through the Devil’s Tomb, meet the ever-eerie Jason, Michael, and Freddy Kruger, and experience scenes from The Chainsaw Massacre and The Exorcist. The monster butcher and his zombie girlfriend in the slaughterhouse are popular with the crowds.

Parents may need to use caution as not all activities may be suitable for all ages. As some reviews on the attraction’s Facebook page indicate, the event is more intense than some other Halloween offerings and kids, though enjoying it, have found it frightening.

The Caitlin Manor Haunted House at 6880 Caitlin Street, San Bernardino will be in progress on the remaining Friday and Saturdays in October, as well as Sunday the 29th and Tuesday the 31st. Those who are marking their calendars will want to check the event’s websites for times as they vary. Facebook reviewers of this event from last year gave it full marks out of a five-star rating.
