Roseville gets a Taste of Placer

Roseville Firefighters will be helping Kelli’s Cookies in holding an inaugural fundraiser called ‘Taste of Placer’ in the town in a couple of weeks.

Guests will be treated to samplings of beverages and cuisines from 30 Placer County’s finest restaurants and beverage establishments. This will be an all-you-can–eat-and-drink event. Local businesses and individuals have donated items for the raffle and silent auction. All Star DJ will be providing the music, and a photo booth will be available for pictures to remember the event.

Guests will receive swag bags containing promotional products, coupons, advertising brochures, discounts, and samples donated by local businesses. Some of the sponsors will likely have their logos embossed on the event’s promotional drinkware.

Advanced tickets are $40 and can be purchased at 605 Douglas Blvd. Kelli’s Cookies For Goodness Bakes or on line at the bakery’s website. Tickets will be $50 at the door.

Proceeds will go to a new nonprofit organization called Kelli’s Cookies that mentors at-risk and foster youth. It helps with employment and job training for at-risk youth in the regions of Sacramento and greater Placer.

The Taste of Placer in Roseville will be at the Roseville Sports Complex at 1545 Pleasant Grove Blvd in Roseville on October 21. The event will run from 5:30 until 9:00 pm. Guests must be 21 or older.
