Boulder area community to host Halloween bash

October 7, 2017 by

This Halloween, Boulder residents are invited to celebrate the season with a special day on the slate for nearby Erie.

The community’s Briggs Street has planned a day of activities for people of all ages. Kids and adults alike can don their Halloween best to try their luck in the costume contest, and there will also be trunk or treat activities at the corners of both Briggs and Wells streets and the intersection of Briggs and Moffatt streets. An assortment of businesses in the community’s downtown core will have decorated their storefronts for the occasion, and those who come out will be invited to vote for their favorite to win the People’s Choice award.

To cap off the fun of the day, kids and adults alike are invited to an evening dance party, which will feature music by a live DJ, and there will be special glow in the dark treats for the kids.

The registration fee for the costume contest starts at $5 for individuals, and for those who wish to enter a group costume, the fee will be $10. Banners, prize certificates, and more for a function such as this can be provided by an area printer.

This day of spooky fun will take place in Erie on October 28. It has been produced by Pop-Up Culture, and more information can be found on its website.
