The Haunt the Block will take place in Historic Downtown Manassas. Guests are invited to wear their Halloween costumes and go trick-or-treating from business to business around the downtown area. Shops will be open late to accommodate participants. Food trucks will be on site with Halloween treats, and a costume contest will highlight the evening.

During the event, the Mansfield Friends of the Museum will have ghost tours that will be walking events going around the block in Downtown Manassas. Guides will be telling ghostly tales and exploring the haunted history of the area. The tours will last between 30 and 45 minutes and since lighting is an issue, tourists are advised to take flashlights. All proceeds will go to the Mansfield Historical Museum. If the weather becomes inclement, the tours will be in the museum itself.

Local ghosts and goblins will want to mark their calendars for October 19 and head down to Historic Downtown Manassas 100 N. Main Street any time between 5:00 pm and 8:00 pm.
