Snellville fundraiser seeks local vendors

A special event will soon be taking place in Snellville, and the organizers are seeking local businesses and organizations that may be interested in taking part.

This will be the 24th year for the annual Brookwood Arts and Crafts Festival, which is being held in support of the local high school’s basketball and cheer leading programs. The festivities will be held indoors, which means that it can take place rain or shine. Coaches, team members and their parents will be on hand to help the participating vendors unload and set up their display spaces, and when it is all over for the day, they will help to reload any items they brought in.

In order to give the businesses and groups that will be taking part time to make their booth look their best, the venue will be open the evening before the main event. Each space allocated will be 12 feet by 8 feet and includes two chairs. A limited number of larger spaces that have access to an electrical outlet will be allocated on a first come, first served basis. The organizers remarked that the fair is highly promoted throughout the local area, and attendance is usually high. Pop-up banners and other items for community functions like this can be both designed and produced by a local printer.

November 11 has been selected as the date for the Brookwood Arts and Crafts Festival, which will be held in Brookwood High School. The doors will open at 9:00 am, and the event will run until 4:00 pm.
