Longwood dogs set to enjoy a Halloween party

Longwood canines who are looking to enjoy some time with their four-legged friends are invited to bring their human and come to an event that has bene planned for the doggy set.

Secret Lake Park in Casselberry will be the venue for the fourth annual Howl-O-Ween dog walkathon and costume contest, which is a fundraiser that will help animal shelters, spay/neuter programs, and animal rescue efforts across the state.

There will be lots going on for people and pets alike, and those who come out can visit the vendor booths, purchase a raffle ticket, take part in the dog walk and costume contest, and meet the dogs that will be on site and looking for a forever home.

The tickets have been priced at $20 each if purchased ahead of time, and $25 at the door. Prizes will be awarded for the best costume as well as the top individual and team fundraisers. There will be raffles for an assortment of prizes as well. A print company will be able to supply award certificates and other prizes for the and event like this.
