College Night comes to Green Bay

September 13, 2017 by

Local high school students and their parents will get a chance to speak to representatives from both in- and out-of-state colleges at two upcoming College Nights in Green Bay. Armed services educational opportunities will also be represented at both events.

One College Night will be held at Escanaba Bay College Campus on September 17, while Iron Mountain Bay College West Campus will hold an event on September 18. Nearly 50 different colleges from Indiana, Minnesota, Wisconsin, and Michigan will be present for the event.

Bay College Director of Admissions Jessica LaMarch said that she was excited about the upcoming events. She hoped that both students and parents would appreciate the opportunity to gather information about college possibilities while they were also able to visit campuses. She noted that finding the right school is more than just an educational fit; families also consider program availability and financial support.

College Nights are popular events around the country, and are generally focused on helping students find the right school for them. Colleges bring a large number of promotional materials to events, including brochures, flyers, and sometimes promotional products. Students can both gather information about the different schools and sometimes get banners, water bottles, or other gear.

Each event will be held from 6:00 pm to 7:30 pm. To get more information about the events, contact the campuses directly.
