Coral Springs dons whites and heads for museum gala

September 1, 2017 by

Coral Springs Museum of Art is going all out for its ‘20’ fundraiser.

This year marks the 20th anniversary of the museum’s contribution to the local community. Celebrants are invited to wear their finest white attire to a chic cocktail reception.

The reception will feature Cory Bennett, a mixed media artist. The party will have live entertainment, signature cocktails, and heavy hors d’oeuvres.

The Kuhn and East Galleries will be exhibiting its 46th Florida Watercolor Society’s annual convention works of artists Bev Jozwiak and Iain Stewart. Patrons will likely be checking to see if the gift shop has carried out any poster printing of these works.

One interesting item in this year’s auction will be a reservation on the Jazz Cruise donated by Entertainment Cruise Productions. Nearly 100 jazz musicians will be on the ship. The cruise will stop in New Orleans for 25 hours. A veranda state room for two will include the private veranda, onboard events, shows, and meals. Bids may still be placed on the museum’s website.

Tickets for this event will be $50 per person and available at the museum, online, or at the door.

The gala is slated for, Friday, September 15 from 7:00 pm until 10:00 pm at the Coral Springs Museum of Art, 2855 Coral Springs Drive Suite A, Coral Springs.
