Wauwatosa helps kids to be more savvy in the kitchen

Wauwatosa kids who like to cook are invited to grab their aprons and head to a series of sessions that will help them learn to be more comfortable in the kitchen.

The Maggiano’s Little Chef Academy will soon be offering cooking classes to local children between the ages of 5 and 12. When they register, each participant will receive a punch card, and when they have participated in at least eight workshops, they will be invited to attend a graduation ceremony that has been planed for the occasion. During this, they will be presented with a chef jacket that has been prepared just for them. Custom apparel like this can be prepared by a local marketing services provider.

The first class will open with a buffet style brunch and will learn how to make lasagne and will also have an opportunity to visit the build your own sundae bar. Details about the other sessions will be given closer to the date when they will be held. Parents or caregivers are also welcome to attend, and they are also asked to inform the organizers about any special dietary restrictions or seating arrangements required by their child.

The first class in the academy has been planned for Maggiano’s Little Italy on September 9th. More details about the classes can be found by contacting the organizer through its website.
