Homeowner workshop to be held in Lake Worth

August 22, 2017 by

Home ownership is an ambition shared by many, and a Lake Worth workshop will teach those who take part tips they can use to reach that goal as quickly as they can.

As having good credit is an important factor in being approved by mortgage lenders, the First Time Homebuyer’s Workshop, which is HUD approved, will open with a discussion of this topic. The facilitators for the function will also share budgeting tips and tricks, and they will also talk about applying for a mortgage and what steps people can take to improve their chances of being approved.

A portion of the training will be allocated to the actual process of shopping for a new home, as well as the importance of having it inspected and appraised before making the decision to buy. After this, the process of making an offer and having it accepted will be addressed, as will closing the deal.

Those who participate may qualify for different lending initiatives offered by national, state, and local government agencies, and private companies as well. Each person who completes the session will receive a certificate, and lunch will be provided. Digital copying can be used to produce copies of any handouts that will be handed out during an event like this.

This course, which will run for the whole day, has been planned for September 16th in Lake Worth’s Lantana Road Branch Library. Anyone who is interested is asked to register ahead of time.
