August 8, 2017 by

Barkin’ Brunch, an event designed to unveil interactive stations built for the Humane Society of Manatee County that will help dogs to increase their chances of becoming adopted, will be hosted in Bradenton, Florida in a few days

Individuals from the Gulf Coast Builder’s Exchange, The Florida Gulf Coast Chapter of the American Institute of Architects, and the Suncoast Chapter of the Construction Specifications Institute helped to donate the materials needed for the interactive stations and helped to put them together.

The interactive stations that will be revealed at the event include a tunnel built for dogs to help them overcome their fears of cars, a pool deck and steps, a socialization bench for dogs, staff of the human society, therapy steps, elevated dog walk steps, a plumbing system that will help provide fresh water to the dogs at the center, and a moving platform that will help to increase the confidence of a dog on moving surfaces.

Barkin’ Brunch will be taking place on this Saturday, August 12th from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm at the Humane Society of Manatee County on 2515 14th Street West in Bradenton. As per the title, there will be brunch bites available at the event.
