San Diego set to socialize

The ‘Social Media: Harnessing the Groundswell’ workshop was designed to provide business owners with the pertinent details involved in using social media to attract new customers to their website and influence their need to buy. This event will teach guests how to use social media effectively, as well as responsibly.

During this session, participants will find an information-packed event that teaches them the value of social media, what it is, and why to use it. There will be information on how social media can assist small businesses, as well as what the advantages and drawbacks are when using social media in advertising and marketing campaigns. Guests will discuss whether their businesses are ready to be involved and engage social media, focusing on which platforms are the best platforms for small businesses. There will be an in-depth look into YouTube, Twitter, MySpace, and Facebook. As a portion of this session, guests will also observe how other small businesses are using social media successfully, and what the dos and don’ts are when using it.

For new business owners, entrepreneurs, and people looking into franchise opportunities, this workshop will provide insight into how social media can be used to assist with business growth and revenue generation. Registration is $49 in advance and $59 at the door.
