Wednesday, July 25, sees a General Business Workshop taking place at the Zane State College, Cambridge Campus, Willett-Pratt Training Center, located at 9900 Brick Church Road in Cambridge, Ohio. This event will start at 5:00 pm and end at 7:00 pm.
This informational workshop is co-sponsored by the Zane State College, the Small Business Administration, Huntington National Bank, and the Ohio Department of Development. Participants who attend this small business workshop will be provided with a broad overview about everything business owners should know of when dealing with State and Federal taxes.
During this two-hour course, students will learn about the taxes they are responsible to collect and file with each level of the government, as well as how to complete the tax forms required for making remittances. Each guest at this seminar will receive the information, materials, and handouts required to understand how each step in the tax process works. They will also learn the correct procedure, used by the government, for filing their remittances. For people who are looking to start a new business or open any type of business franchise, this workshop will ensure that they have the knowledge they require about taxes. There will be ongoing discussion during this work period, as well as a question-and-answer session.
