On Thursday, July 12, the Small Business Taxes and Bookkeeping for the Small Business Owner Workshop will take place at the Seattle SBA Office located at 2401 Fourth Avenue, 4th and Battery Building, Suite 450, in Seattle, Washington. This event is scheduled from 10:00 am to 11:00 am.
One of the major concerns for small business owners is keeping track of their records for sales and spending and then completing the book work associated with it. This workshop is being sponsored by the Small Business Administration and will focus on the bookkeeping requirements, as well as the filing procedures when it comes to working with the governments, on all levels.
The students who attend this event will learn all about what their responsibilities are as small business owners. They will be taught all about which taxes they must pay and when they are due to be submitted. During this course, the IRS will be providing the students will many publications, small business materials, and forms, so that they become familiar with all the necessary paperwork. During this course, guests will discover more about accounts receivable, accounts payable, and collecting taxes. There will also be in-depth discussion on all the material being covered.
Admission to this workshop is free, but advanced registration is required.
