The Model Train Festival is celebrating its 17th annual event in 2012, and this years showcase is expected to be bigger and better than ever. The festival has been extended to 11 days and guests will be able to celebrate this season by viewing and enjoying the model train displays from the olden days. A Taste of Tacoma begin this Friday, July 29, at Point Defiance Park located at 5400 in Ruston, Washington, just down the road from Tacoma. This event takes place Friday and Saturday from 11:00 am to 9:00 pm and concludes on Sunday at 8:00 pm.
