Green Space Blooms will be presenting its 10th anniversary Queens Celebration of Dance. The festival is a celebration of Queens new dance artists and choreographers.
Queens Council on the Arts will soon be honoring sculptor Joel Shapiro and photographer Tony Vaccaro with an unconventional winter evening experience called Venetian Carnevale. Proceeds from the event will go to the OCAs Emerging Artist Fund.

A walk called the Second Renaissance of Railroads in Long Island City will be happening here in a couple of weeks. The event will be a walking event and recommended only for the sure-footed, as the route will be mostly on railroad ties and off-pavement.
