Spring is almost here and the children of Fuquay-Varina are getting their baskets ready for our towns annual Easter Egg Hunt and Candy Hop. Both activities will be free.
Fuquay-Varinas Chamber of Commerce will be hosting a virtual golf Pebble Beach 21-Man Scramble this month. The three-day event will have 40 pairs vying for prizes.
Johnson Subaru of Cary will be hosting its sixth annual Snow Day toward the end of January. Family and friends from around the area, including Fuquay-Varina, are invited to have some snowy fun.
The North Carolina Chinese Lantern Festival is currently being presented in Cary. The festival has more than 20 displays each with thousands of LED lights and hundreds of parts.
The Celebrate Fuquay-Varina festival, which was cancelled due to Hurricane Matthew, will be coming in a few days.
Last years Haunted Trail was such a success that the town is bringing it back for the Halloween season again this year. Last year, the event brought in over 1,500 guests.
Locals will be eagerly awaiting a Celebrate Fuquay-Varina Festival early in October.
The local chamber of commerce will soon be hosting its Core Connection Business Expo for the seventh year.
Neighboring New Hill will be the location where C and D Events will be hosting its 2nd Annual Bradford Summer Soiree. The party, which will no doubt see a sizable turnout from Fuquay-Varina, will be coming early in August.
Fuquay-Varina Independence Day Celebration will be held a day early this year. The event will be free and organizers promise that it will still have the same Independence Day spirit, activities and of course fireworks.
