Spark! Mesas Festival of Creativity will be coming to the area in just over a weeks time.
The Commemorative Air Force Airbase Arizona Museum will be presenting A Night in the 40s Big Band Dance early in March. This will be the museums flagship fundraiser, and the theme will be Take a Sentimental Journey back to 1943.
Mesa Arts Center is presenting its Spring Out to Lunch Concert Series beginning in January.
The new year will get underway with the 45th Annual Flagg Gem and Mineral Show sponsored by the Flagg Mineral Foundation. The event is the foundations largest fundraiser, and the 2017 show will be the largest of its kind in the Phoenix area. Admission and parking will be free.
In a couple of weeks, Mesas Downtown will be decked out for the holidays and kicking off its Merry Main Street festivities with a special celebration.

Mesa will be the location of the Arizona Celebration of Freedom, which will celebrate Independence Day. This will be the third year for this free event.
