Passport to Woodinville
March 27, 2012 by Mark
On Saturday, April 21st and Sunday, April 22nd, 2012 the Woodinville Wine Country’s “Passport to Woodinville” Wine Tasting Weekend is back. This great weekend is held at Woodinville Wine Cellars located at 17721 – 132nd Avenue, Woodinville, Washington. This event runs both days from 11am to 4pm.
The Passport to Woodinville wine tasting has been named one of “America’s 50 Most Amazing Wine Experiences”. The event offers native wine lovers, to the Washington area, the opportunity to sip, swirl, and sample their way through a vast collection of new and current releases from more than thirty different Woodinville wineries. This weekend of tasting is highly anticipated each year, with many obtaining tickets far in advance making tickets rather limited.
This year, there are more than thirty wineries participating in this much loved event. Some of the wineries have been based in the Washington area for many generations, while others are relatively new but producing a fine vintage. Some of the wineries participating in this year’s event include Woodinville Wine Cellars, Goose Ridge Wine Estate, Anton Ville Winery, Bookwalter Tasting Studio, Brian Carter Cellars, Michelle, Cougar Crest Winery, and Pondera Winery, just to mention a few. Poster printing, brochure printing and ticket printing from local printing companies are just a few of the methods local businesses, such as these, advertise and promote events in the community.
Tickets for this event range between $55.00 per person for the one day Sunday pass only, or $85.00 per person for the two day pass for Saturday and Sunday. For additional information, visit Woodinville Wine Cellar’s website or call Woodinville Wine Cellar at 425-481-8860.
