Meeting of minds the subject for local play
January 30, 2014 by Mark
Picasso at the Lapin Agile takes place tonight and features a meeting between two of the greatest minds in history. Written by famous comedian Steve Martin, it is set in a splendid little café in 1904.
This is an absurd comedy that is likely to find the audience giggling in their seats. Brochure printing and poster printing might have been used to spread the word about this performance to people living across the area.
As this performance opens, a delightful café finds two marvelous minds sitting at a table in debate – Pablo Picasso and Albert Einstein. This comedy, as absurd as it is, pits art and science against commercialism, and as the two men allow both funny and thought-provoking aspects to come to light.
The play originally opened in 1994 and soon had rave reviews, which is why it is a staple of modern theater in America today. It is being presented by the SecondStory Repertory Theatre and is a crazy and zany evening of entertainment the audience is sure to remember for many years to come.
Ticket prices for this performance vary depending on the seating selected. It will be performed tonight, January 30, starting at 8:00 pm at the SecondStory Repertory Theatre located at 16578 Northeast 74th Street in Redmond, Washington, just a short drive from Woodinville. To find out more about this production, or to purchase tickets, take a look at the theater’s website or call the box office during regular business hours.
