Garden exhibition now in bloom

Having got underway yesterday, the Northwest Flower & Garden Show is the country’s second biggest garden showcase and spotlights a number of spectacular show gardens.

The event currently celebrating its 25th anniversary, so the 2013 show theme will be ‘The Silver Screen Takes Root…Gardens Go Hollywood’. With more than six acres of gardens on display, showing both innovative approaches and imaginative designs, there is plenty to highlight on any promotional poster printing.

The gardens on display at this show have been created by some of the world’s top creators and there will be more than 30 speakers, including local favorites returning once again to share their knowledge. Featuring a large line-up of wonderful garden luminaries, there will also be information on the latest gardening trends, lots of how-to information, free seminars about pruning, garden design, and cooking demonstrations that will focus on ‘Garden to Table’ meals.

This show features more than 350 exhibitors who will have the hottest new services and products available in today’s marketplace, as well as current gardening gear, interesting garden art, and a variety of plants.

The cost is $20 for adults, $5 for youths aged between 13 and 17, and children under 12 are free. The Northwest Flower & Garden Show will be held up until Sunday, February 24 at the WA State Convention Center located at 800 Convention Place in Seattle, Washington, a quick drive from Woodinville.
