Washington rolls up for high-tech circus

This week, Cavalia’s Odysseo has started presenting internationally renowned live entertainment by marrying high-tech effects from the theatrical stage with stage arts and equestrian performances.
The latest performance by this group, which runs well into March, features 47 artisans and 63 horses, all of which is likely to send viewers’ hearts racing as the theatrical production unfolds with a breathtaking ode to man and his horse. Attendees can see both horses and men perform spectacular feats.
The show was created through the imagination of a co-founder of Cirque du Soleil and will be a visual feast for the eye. A $30m production, it pushes the limits of both the imagination and the soul and is bound to keep the audience spellbound throughout the show.
The public is invited to see it, and tickets vary in price. Cavalia’s Odysseo will be on stage under the big top until Sunday, March 9, starting at 8:00 pm at the White Big Top located in King County’s Marymoor Park located at 6046 West Lake Sammamish Parkway Northeast in Redmond, Washington, just outside Tacoma.
