Musical to get away from the daily grind

‘9 to 5: the Musical’, based on the movie of the same name, is on its way this weekend and includes the lyrics and music of Dolly Parton.

The movie was based on a book written by Patricia Resnick called ‘What a Way to Make a Living’, and it would not be a surprise if an array of printing services had been used to promote this production, which is aimed towards those aged over 13, to people all around the area.

The production is about three women who are driven past their boiling points by overbearing, pushy, and egotistical bosses. The three women join forces and create a plan to deal with their awful bosses in an attempt to get even with them. The play is set in the latter part of the 1970s and creates a hilarious story about revenge and friendship during the Rolodex years. Through a mixture of comedy, poignancy, and romance, the musical production finds the three women teaming up to take care of business and beat the mean-spirited bosses.

Admission prices for this production range between $12 and $29 depending on seating selection. ‘9 to 5: the Musical’ will be on stage tomorrow, May 25, starting at 8:00 pm at the Tacoma Musical Playhouse located at 7116 Sixth Avenue in Tacoma, Washington.
