Bye Bye Birdie auditions to fly into Tacoma

The Audition Call for Bye Bye Birdie is being hosted by the Tacoma Little Theatre next week, under the direction of Chris Serface, with musical guidance by Terry O’Hara.
All talented singers are invited to audition for this musical satire. Flyer printing and other printing services were likely used to call all actors and singers from this community and throughout the region.
Bye Bye Birdie that tells a satire story with true affection about a renowned rock and roll singer who has pending army induction papers and performs a “Farewell Concert” in his small Midwestern community. All performers will be expected to perform a one-to-two-minute monologue as well as to sing up to 16 bars from a selected piece of music. Those planning to audition must make an appointment to reserve an audition time.
This is open to all ages and there is no cost to have a go. Auditions will be happening from Monday, February 24 until Wednesday, February 26, starting at 7:00 pm at the Tacoma Little Theatre located at 210 N I Street. Call backs will be held the following Monday, March 3, so eager hopefuls will not have too long to wait.
