Top Pot Doughnut Dash

On Sunday, April 29th Ryan G. will be hosting the Top Pot Doughnut Dash at Green Lake Park located at 7201 E. Green Lake Drive North in Seattle, Washington. This event will begin at approximately 8:30 am.
Registration for this event will take place between 7am and 8am with the first Walk/Run 5 K race kicking off at 8:30am. At 9:15am there will be an awards ceremony followed closely by the 1 K Kids Dash, which is for children twelve and under. The kid’s fun run is about .5 of a mile and begins and ends where the adult run ends. Each participant in the kids run will receive a Dash T-shirt and a finisher’s ribbon. Each adult participant will receive a Top Pot Doughnut Dash T-shirt which can be picked up during the Super Jock ‘n Jill on the Friday and Saturday, as well as during the morning’s event. This run is in support of Childhaven, which is an organization whose goal is to stop and prevent abuse and neglect using scientific-supported program to treat and protect children between one month of age and five years of age. Net proceeds from this event will go to Childhaven.
As with any event, organizers may have hired the services of local print shops for sinage and banner printing for the big day. Entry fees for this event are $35 if registered before April 28th, 2012, $45 if registered the day of the race for adults and $10 for the Kids Dash.
