On Saturday, June 9, the NW Adventure Sports Festival will take place at the Olympic Outdoor Center located at 32379 Rainier Avenue, in Port Gamble, just a hop down the road from Silverdale, Washington. This event takes place from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm and all ages are welcome to attend.

This festival is the brainchild of the Olympic Outdoor Center and Kayakproshop to meet the needs of the growing number of outdoor enthusiasts. This event brings together athletes, enthusiasts, and key industry representatives. This festival’s focus is on stand-up paddle boarding, kayaking, mountain biking, trail running, and many other outdoor activities. This year’s festival includes a full and mini adventure triathlon, beginner and expert paddling races, many vendors with today’s latest outdoor equipment, helpful advice from experienced experts, opportunities to test run and try out equipment, a family fun fair, plenty of food, and live music. There will be a Festival Fun Run held on Sunday featuring a 5K that is stroller friendly and, during the festival, all ages and experience levels can test out stand-up paddle boarding, kayaks, outdoor equipment, mountain bikes, and much more. All guests are welcome to attend the free classes and demonstrations throughout the day.

Admission to this event is free and flyer printing may have been used to advertise it to the public. This is an outdoor event, so please dress appropriately and remember sunglasses and sunscreen.
